David Levine

Co-Founder, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

David earned his Masters from The Somatics Program at The California Institute of Integral Studies while studying

intersubjective, body-centered psychotherapy, as well as family systems, Sensory Awareness and Authentic Movement.  He encourages clients to examine their ‘here and now’ experience in session and to cultivate self awareness and compassion, which are keys to personal growth.  At Somawell, David works with individuals, families and couples and has helped many people in becoming their best selves and to relate to loved ones from that place.  He believes that marriage is a lifelong journey, full of opportunities for both partners to grow alongside each other and work towards their vision.  He uses humor and compassion and respect, accompanying clients and their path to healing and self discovery.
